Founded in 1436 AH, Ubai Bin K‘ab Academy of Islamic Sciences is a global institute dedicated to nurturing a new generation of learners in their pursuit of knowledge, spirituality, and personal growth.

Our name
Named for a scribe of the revelation
Our name is inspired by the revered companion of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, Ubai bin K‘ab ﵁, who devoted his life to the Qur’an. As one of the Prophet’s ﷺ scribes, he was entrusted with recording the Qur’anic revelations. Known for his remarkable commitment, he was among the few who had memorized the entire Qur’an and possessed a profound understanding of its meanings.
At Ubai Bin K‘ab Academy, we strive to honour this legacy by empowering our community with essential principles and skills for lifelong learning and spiritual growth. Through a curriculum that emphasizes foundational knowledge, we seek to inspire continuous intellectual and spiritual development, guiding our students toward a deeper connection with dīn and their purpose.
